Ben Tisser has been chosen to be recorded as the voice of Warsaw Ghetto Uprising leader Mordecai Anielewicz as part of the permanent exhibition at the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center. As part of refreshing its exhibition, the museum is including Anielewicz's final letter (to fellow uprising leader Yitzhak Zuckerman), written just weeks before his death. Tisser recorded the letter in Yiddish and English. The recording will be played along with a video of the letter being "written", with Tisser also serving as the Yiddish "ghostwriter". Tisser's involvement with the Museum goes back to his arrival in Chicago. Since 2016 he has appeared as the Cantor and officiant at the Museum's Yom HaShoah and Kristallnacht Commemorations.
